Job Agencies

[Vange Shrimper]

I fancy doing some temping work in London over the summer to get me a bit of money for Uni, but cant seem to find any. There's nowt going in Basildon and the wages here are lower than those in London. Ive tried Reed and a couple of others, but still cant seem to find anything suitable.

Does anyone know of any other places that i could try?

)and my guess is you'll have a job lined up before you get back home.

Try the ones in Southend.

When I was at University it was easy to pick up work at one of the credit card centres in the town.

Mind you, this was a good few years back so I'm not sure if it is still the case.

BTW the wages will be lower locally than in London but remember you have to factor in the travel costs and the fact that you will lose two hours of life per day travelling.

Or you could spend a miserable summer working in a sponge factory which I have also done.
