I thought it might be an idea for everyone to state their job title, or whether they're students/carers etc. That way we can avoid any arguments as to who said what.

I'm a health economist at the University of Sheffield. Job is a 3 way split of teaching/lecturing, academic research, and research consultancy. Most of my work is for NICE, who decide if new drugs are cost-effective.

I'm available for private consultancy work if you're in this area.

Ta. And yes, it's pretty good - I started in the warehouse 12 years ago pulling orders for minimum wage, now I own and run the company, and most of the time it's been a total blast (even if the music, being predominantly underground electronic/urban stuff, isn't always my cup of tea).
