Due to sign for AFC Wimbledon from Maidstone United today for £25;000.

In his interview following signing, he was asked what his career highlight was, of course he said THAT goal at Wembley!

Just caught up with 'Goal Rush'.

Good finish that, from the :pig:

Scored a 93rd minute winner against Bristol Rovers today. He does love a late goal...

I know it is an unpopular opinion but I still think we missed a trick with him.

Maybe he needed that year in non-league to find the hunger after the crush of not being retained by his childhood club, but I reckon a supportive manager like Chris Powell is just what he needs. I'd have him back if the chance arose. I think he's coming into his prime.

I agree, too often strikers have been "binned" b us too soon and after not being given adaption time or being played to their strengths. I thought Pig had a bit of Brett about him and a bit of time might have brought more from him.

Hmmm. I understand what you are saying but he was pretty poor at times. We will never know - perhaps he will come back to haunt us in the home and away games next season .......... but I'm willing to bet 2 bananas that he won't!
