How can you call between these two, McKinven great tricky winger so much used to seem to come from him on the left brilliant ball control and a real winger, whereas Bill Garner in full flow under the floodlights with Best and Moore at his side just so brilliant in the air and packed a pretty good shot too. My vote just about goes to Garner but I feel strangely guilty voting against Johny Mac

This is a bit before my time, but after he retired Bill Garner was one of my PE teachers. The other teachers used to love sending us on cross countries or force us to do circuit training, but on "Mr" Garners day we'd all happily have a game of footie. He just used to ref, but I remember one day the ball bounced up around him about 22 yards out and he just spanked it left foot in the bottom corner of the net. Class

I know what you mean, I feel exactly the same way. Bill Garner has my vote but I would have liked to be able to vote for johnny mac as well.
