Southend United, in collaboration with the Shrimpers Trust and The Blue Voice, have launched a campaign to raise £15,000 for a large-scale tifo display at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, June 1.

The initiative aims to create a breathtaking visual moment as the players walk out the tunnel to face Oldham Athletic in the Vanarama National League Promotion Final.

With thousands of Shrimpers expected to make the journey to watch Kevin Maher’s side try and win promotion to the EFL, we’re calling on the fanbase to help create something special.

Supporters can donate to the campaign below.

Tifo Fundraiser

Southend CEO Tom Lawrence said: “Wembley is set to be a special day for everyone connected to the club and this is an opportunity to create a display that will live long in the memory. We’ve worked tirelessly to make this day one to remember and we’d be grateful for any contribution that supporters can make to the fundraiser.”

James Schooley, Chairman of the Shrimpers Trust, said: “The resilience and character shown by the players and management, and indeed by the whole club, has been astonishing – whether during the dark times a year ago, or during the playoffs over the last few weeks! We want to get behind them with a display at Wembley, to help make the day live long in the memory”

Dan McEvoy from The Blue Voice added: "This time last year, as fans we were somewhat uncertain of our future going into this season... in just a few day’s time, we will compete at Wembley for a place back in the Football League again, just over 10 years ago after our last Wembley appearance. We want to mark this occasion with, what we consider to be a very powerful display, that will be a long-lasting memory for not just its fans or the staff, but for everyone connected to Southend United FC and its wider community."

Every penny raised will go directly towards the tifo and in the unlikely event of we exceed our target, surplus funds will be used for similar materials next season. Fans are encouraged to donate whatever they can and to share the link widely with fellow supporters, friends and family.

Thank you for your support!
