We will be holding our Junior Blues Christmas Party at MFA Bowl at the Kursaal, Southend on Sea on Tuesday 9th December, from 4:30pm.

Southend United first team players will be in attendance to sign autographs, take pictures and have a bowl with our Junior Blues.

Food & Drink will be provided and each Junior Blue in attendance will receive a gift.

This was a great evening last year, and hopefully it will be again this time round.

The tragic accident on the M25 prevented some of our players from attending the Junior Blues' Christmas Party unfortunately, however those that came, along with boss Phil Brown and his management team, were on fine form. They were a huge credit to the club with Phil taking a party of youngsters under his control for the duration - but making sure everyone in the room knew when he got a strike!

We had our three GKs there, Dan Bentley, Paul Smith and Ted Smith, plus Barry Corr, Will Atkinson, Ryan Leonard, David Worrall, Cian Bolger, Gary Deegan, John White and Jack Bridge, plus Sammy and Elvis, Phil, Dave Penney and Graham Coughlan. All were happy to play along with the children, and to pose for photos and sign a variety of goods.

The children had a sausage and chip buffet and were each given a present before they left. A huge thank you to all at SUFC for their support in this event and to Gillian and all the staff at the Kursaal MFA Bowl, who were fantastic. There were a few Zoners there so I hope their children enjoyed themselves!
