Tomlin from his long awaited return . He will not be match fit for a while but will P S risk him for the run in . With 3 home games coming up very soon I would like to think he will come of the bench during one of theses games .

Two weeks a week ago, so hopefully another week and he will be ready to go. We have really missed him
Agree 100%,Holds ball up well got a good football brain and has scored a lot of goals for us.Brings the best out of Britt as well.

I am not sure i have ever seen a southend team be so affected by the injury of one player (30+ years) we have been gash without him.

Are you sure that's Tomlin and not Timlin you're speaking of? For me, Timlin has been by far the bigger loss, at least we've had Corr banging goals in while Tomlin's been out.

You say that OBL .But does corr have Tomlins pace .No I don't think so Does Brit work as well with corr as he did with Tomlin no So yes I believe we have missed Tomlin

Given that we have only won one of the 14 games we've played minus Timlin, I think her point has more validity than your own.

You couldnt take Tomlin, Timlin, and Laird out of our side, and not expect a dip in form.

Expected to be back in training end of the week. Laird is back training today. PS reckons they both will probably not be fit in time for Saturday's game. From Chris P on Twitter
