As above, according to CP.

Our club is becoming a parody. It's like a rich man's Billericay Town with Phil Brown playing Football Manager 2006.

Ex England international Richardson training with Blues

FORMER England international Kieran Richardson is training with Southend United, Echosport understands.

"Training with" can just be an instance of a player without a club wanting to keep fit. You have to remember that a lot of these we will have Anton Ferdinand to thank for, across the huge network of players at a high level he will have played with. I don't see anything wrong with it - players need to keep fit if they don't have a club and if Brown is happy, then it doesn't do any harm.

OLD MEN UNITED ! :stunned::stunned::stunned:

I can just see the car park being chokka with mobility scooters.

Plus the youngsters will learn something from a seasoned ex pro, especially an international.

As you say - it does no harm.

They can learn how to go from playing for England to training with Southend.

  • 30+ years of age,
  • 6 games since signing for Cardiff in 2016,
  • England International,
  • Less than 40 games in the past 3 seasons.

This doesn't come across as the kind of player Brown likes to sign... :whistling:

We need another has been in a position that's plentiful like we need a hole in the head.

We need a CB, how hard can it be to get one in?

On the opposite side, Rochdale signed two players on loan yesterday. One is a CB, the other a CB/CM...

Turns out they were available...
