I will be able to make a fair comparison after this weekend, as I was at V and this coming weekend I am off to Reading,
I really did not think Killers at the weekend were much cop, especially considering they were headlining a Festival.

The Killers are crap live, as already mentioned. Haven't seen KoL and not their biggest fan but would happily watch them at a festival

I'd say The Killers are naff live because their material since Hot Fuss has been dire. When they performed their Hot Fuss material live, they were heralded as one of the great up and coming performers... Since then, they've produced some utter, sombre cack which has killed their vibe.

KOL are much better live. Unfortunately both bands were ten times better 5 or 6 years ago.
