Labour looking strong?

Elections are won and lost on the marginal seats so it probably takes small movements in support to take a lot of seats. Ed's unpopularity I think isn't based on anything real and if Labour get in despite that there are a number of policies that will really mean something to people and could keep them in power. The achievements of the government are things we are told are there but don't experience ourselves - the economy has picked up yet everyone is skint.

Ed Miliband as Prime Minister, really? we'd be a f****** laughing stock.

Careful what you don't wish for, stranger things have happened. I could easily see a 'no overall majority' and the Lib Dems sliding over to side with Labour this time. There is also a view that we are already a laughing stock in Europe now.

Only in Europe?

I see a Lib Lab coalition with the liberal left leaning press starting to ease up on Clegg etc. in the election runup.

The problem with that prediction is it assumes the lib dems will win a seat or two.

The latest economy forecasts ( growth highest in G7) won't help Labour. The Scot's vote will decide it; with no Scot MPs then there won't be a chance of a Labour win in any future election.
If Scots vote to stay in UK then a hung parliament is odds on .
