Aberdeen Shrimper

The Man who sold the world
Dave Gilmour is on tonight celebrating the release of his new album and in the light of recent events, (RIP Rick) think this might me a must watch for Floyd fans, unless it was pre-recorded before the death of Mr Wright.

Also on the show is Katy Perry making her UK television debut, Natalie Cole, Roots Manuva and Elbow.

Anyone got this on????

Elbow....superb

Katy Pery.....OMG i so would

Dave Gimlour just chatting to Jools about the death of Rick Wright with Jeff Beck sitting with him.

They are really good, will have to look out for tour dates up this neck of the woods

Glasgow Carling Academy Sun 19 Oct* if you fancy it?
* - this will involve me selling this to Mrs R as it's her birthday!!!

Elbow are superb. Must try and see them live at some point.

Leicester DeMontfort Hall Thu 16 Oct is probably your nearest!
3 nights in Camden (The Roundhouse) the weekend before so I'm guessing 2 of them might have now sold out.

I do actually Rich......unless they are playing Aberdeen as well, would make more sense to travel 40 miles south to Aberdeen to be honest mate, but if not i am well up for that, just will mean taking the Monday morning off work as i doubt we will get home much before 2 to 3 am

Love Elbow's web site......the name Elbow is like a piano key board that you click on then you get the different sub categories....makes a change from the usual home pages.

I just made quite a cool tune on it.

OK......just looked, ignore my post about Aberdeen, they are only playing Glasgow in Scotland. I will see what Mrs AS thinks

Elbow & Roots Manuva were superb also. Been meaning to get the new Roots Manuva album for a while now, I'll have to make it a priority now.

Elbow are superb live, saw them years ago at the Roadmender in Northampton and a couple of years ago at the Astoria in London. Fantastic. Might have to go see them again soon myself.
