Just spent a leisurely hour in the bath reading today's issue of the fanzine. I must say what a jolly good read it is.

Anyone requiring a copy contact Jai on the Zone.

Love All at Sea. Always save it for a decent train journey. Great value for a quid. Well done to Jai and the lads for running it for so long.

Used to love Roots Hall Roar and WTS Southend Glory too.

Then answer to the question in the latest AAS of where of is jeff allen ? is that jeff is the meeting presenter, at the elite league speedway team the Lakeside Hammers based at the Arena Essex Raceway ,jeff has been carring out his duties in much the same style as he used during his time at roots hall '' lets make some noise for the mighty hammers '' etc etc for many seasons now although a few years ago he changed the name he uses from Jeff Allen to that of Geoff Cox . he always used to have plenty of banter wih his fellow presenter at the arena who is a col u season ticket holder, when jeff was still working at roots hall , although nowadays jeff follows the fortunes of charlton .

Didnt Jeff or Geoff etc used to go to a lot of the away days? If so bit funny he has defected to Charlton now.

Cheers Ken,

I'm very disappointed Jeff now supports Charlton although didn't he say he was quite badly treated by the club?

Thanks to everyone for reading the fanzine and all those who have contributed this season. A big thank you to Jai who lays it out everytime and has pretty much single-handedly kept it going this season. I hope we will back in 2011/12.

yes jeff used to go to quite a few away games , remember sitting next to him on that terrible day in Grimsby , sad to say he dosent have much of a good word to say about southend now days , not sure why he become such of a charlton fan !! :-(

Our podcast editor is snowed under with open university coursework at the moment which is why we haven't brought one out for ages. But hoping to squeeze one in before end of season if we can work out how to edit it without him.

Lakeside - Good to see another Speedway fan on the board!

Two links for you...my Speedway Blog - www.thespeedwayrevolution.co.uk and Speedway Fans United (National Supporters Association) - www.speedwayfansunited.com

Anyway, I have hijacked the thread enough...back to work!

Thanks, I shall look forward to it.
