Our first game of the new season was against Cheltenham and we lost it 2-0. We went down to two early goals which is always difficult to come back from, especially as they sat back after that and put 11 behind the ball. Also it was boiling and the heat takes so much out of you, I managed to lose half a stone during the game!

I’m in the process of buying a house and am looking forward to getting settled in. I’m currently in rented accommodation so it will be great to be in my own place. Buying a house is pretty stressful but it all seems to be going along okay, and hopefully I should move in at the beginning of September.

That's quite cool... glad to see he's seeing his career here being a little more long-term (although I note that it doesn't say where he's buying a house...)
