A normally reliable source from within the club has told me that Dudfield was found by Tilson sitting alone and in tears in the Boots and Laces changing rooms the day after Southend booked there place in the LDV vans final.

What is particularly sinister is that the phrase:

'ALL WORK AND NO LDV MAKES LAWRIE A DULL BOY'

had been daubed in red felt tip hundreds of times on every available surface including a pair of Drewes white boots........

Make of this what you will.....

Ray, you need help. Or a script writer. Something's not working for you there, though...

Well it can't be any of the players as none of them can write!

Well at least not in felt tip, they have only just learnt how to hold the crayons and not eat them!

I'll have whatever your drinking mate.

Ray you have obviously done more trips than Philleas Fogg.

Are you THE "Liquid Ray" who's name used to be all over Southend Town Centre in the 80's?
