Not Southend related, but sad news here today of the death of Yeovil captain Lee Collins age 32.

No details being released, but rumors are possible suicide. They may well be way off the mark, but given our own Chris Barker history, could be one to keep an eye on to see if there is anything we can do to help if that’s turns out to be true.

Saw that too. So sad, as soon as they said it wasnt suspicious and the coroner invited in, you just have to hope that it was something else. So sad, for Lee, his wife and children and all his family, friends and of course Yeovil FC.

Sleep well Lee xx

Just found out about this.
The poor lad was in the prime of his life, so very tragic.
Thinking also of his family, I believe he had 3 young children.
Rest in Peace Lee. ?

Worst fears confirmed. So, so sorry to hear that another talented player has lost his life from an unseen and not recognised enough mental health issue. So sorry he couldnt get the support and help he needed, tragic for his family and friends. Sleep well Lee xx
