lefties protest at bank bailout

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/ap/20081010/img/pbs-britain-markets-717896c-c6adbc03cf11.html

am I the only one who finds it ironic that a bunch of students and soap dodging dole artists are complaining about others being bailed out?

Obviously different , but reminds me when the soap dodgers tried reclaiming the streets or whatever itr was called back in 1999 , they tried storming the LIFFE floor where i used to work only to be met by 3 thousand blokes all around 20 - 30 years old that were willing to kick the living **** out of the scummy mugs .

If your gonna do something like that make sure you do your homework lads .

Strange old day that one and wouldn't surprise me if it happens again soon, this time i don't fancy my chances against them as now work in an office with some very non fighting type !!

If you had it then you never lose the urge to do it again. Just remember to keep the high ground. Chairs, tables and gravity is all you need for a fun time with soapdodgers.

Sometimes you wonder where these people get their ideas from. Its more about shoring up the economy and supporting the masses than bailing out a few bankers who have screwed up, yet these people are complaining.
I honestly doubt whether they are truly left wing, Carl. I would have thought that the left would be smugly smiling that the Right leaning capitalist money markets have effectively had to beg for assistance in the form of that stock Left wing , much derided, ideal of nationalisation

That was indeed a very odd day. I was working on the 4th floor of a building on The Strand and watched a mass of seemingly ****ed up protestors walk past casually smashing things up at about 5.30pm, knocking over bins, (tidy streets must be capitalist or something) kicking cars, harrassing drivers, some of whom just abandoned their cars and ran for it The riot police then assembled into two long columns of "snatch squads" and ran at them, led by the biggest police officer I have ever seen, on his own at the front. I have to say it was ****ing brilliant watching this bunch of losers get what they deserved for trashing our greatest city - never before or since have I so wanted to be a police officer for the day, I would have gone through a dozen batons. They deserved everything they got and more - a ********, pointless protest by a bunch of Trustfund Tarquins.

Had the fortune of witnessing most of the riot as was standing on our roof top balcany with lots of others who were winding the dodgers up , all started off rather peacefully with folk dancing under a water hydrante that was flowing about 20 ft in the air .

Probably the only time that year that they'd seen clean water so most took the opportunaty of dancing under neath it .

Anyway like i said they hadn't don their homework and storming the building , the police managed to keep most out but the 60 odd that did manage to make it up the top of the escalator soon wished they hadn't .

After about the 50th dodger got hurled face first back down the escalator it then dawned on these losers that they had indeed had made an error .

O well no sympthay for them only wish i'd managed to have stuck my size 9's straight into the head of one them but as you can imagine the queue to get at them was long and they weren't budging.

Happy times

Saw in an interview later that when asked why they was targeting the LIFFE floor all of the dodgers didn't even have a clue what the LIFFE floor was all about and what was traded on there etc .

Heard a story on the day that the LIFFE boys had photocopied a load of £20 notes and were raining them down on the anti-capitalists. Did that actually happen? A couple of mates of mine worked there for a few years - talk about the wrong place to "storm" if you're a 8 stone pikey......

Ah the May Day riots that occurred at the turn of the century, they certainly made it interesting for us City workers.

I was also caught last Fridays protest, luckily for me i can dress as a student so managed to walk around the whole thing, the one downside was the fact I missed the train i wanted to catch. I did laugh at how ironic their protest was, surely getting a government nationalising stuff would have made the lefties happy after all that is all they seemed to go on about during the 80's/90's

Yeah they were being floated down from the balcany , the first pikey threw a flair up the escaltors like some kind of Rambo film , he was obviously dealt with promptly in true Essex boy / south london styley .

Not sure what hit the deck first , the flair or the pikey, was nuff a big escaltor too .

Those protesting are not really lefties. If they really were lefties, then they wouldn't be protesting.

The nationalisation of the banks is one of the cornerstones of the social transformation. It is ironic that capitalism is ultimately propped up by a basic socialist principle.

no, they are a dirty unwashed rent a mob who have used it as an excuse to moan about capitalism, bombing iraq and the fact that they have no hope in life.

Ka-BOOM!!! Carl knows his onions.
