I have no close ties with Leicester City, but it does give me a really warm feeling to see them sitting proudly at the top of the Premier League table tonight and Jamie Vardy equalling the consecutive match scoring record. Well done Claudio Ranieri and the team for sticking it up the other Prem big boys so far. I wonder what Nigel Pearson makes of it all?

It's strange how the two players who have been the stand out were two who didn't exactly set the world alight last season. It's great to see someone else other than the usuals up the top and doing well. I've always rated Ranieri as a manager and felt for him when Abramovich sacked him for 'the special ****'. Let's hope it continues and I hope Vardy scores again in their next game so that it's an Englishman that has the record.

It would be a really special season if Leic could get a Chumps league spot and dent the coffers of the "big boys".
They could become everyones' fav, non glory hunters, 2nd team in a similar way to Keegan's Newcastle were for a short time.

They've only really played Arsenal out of the "big boys" and they hammered them, this time last year West Ham were in and around the top 4 but after Christmas fell apart. Once they pick up a few injuries and Vardy loses form etc they'll soon fall away, but it's still good to see someone different mixing it up.

What a lovely positive post. Gave me a warm feeling inside

Vardy is on fire which must give him a warm feeling,City fans must all have a warm feeling.

Yesterday at the Hall we had a cold feeling.

The Man Utd game is at Leicester.

In the next month they have to play Man City at home and Everton and Liverpool away.

But they've got a couple of easy games against Swansea and Chelsea, as well!
