Watched the Championship highlights programme on Sunday and noticed that Leon Clarke started his 1st league game of the season for Sheffield Wednesday v Birmingham on Saturday - mainly due to injuries to the SWFC squad.

Leon looks just as fat as ever and apart from one chance when he rolled the ball towards the Birmingham goal for the defender to calmly take control and move the ball back down the field, he looked totally ineffective.

We had a narrow escape with Leon that is for sure. So glad he never signed permenantly - despite the goals he scored when he was here at Southend. he is a tub of lard with a bad attitude and it is no wonder Sheffield Wednesday cannot offload him.
