Well I've kind of been following these forums over the past year and I decided to register yesterday. I currently live near New Orleans in Louisiana, but I was born in Leigh and lived there the first 6 years of my life, which I remember very well.

After my dad passed away (Lee Brilleaux, he was the lead singer of a band named Dr. Feelgood) I moved here, but every other year or so I go back to England to visit my grandmother who lives right on Priory Crescent. I didn't go to any games during my visit last year but two years before that I saw Southend lose to Charlton and Tottenham.

I look forward to having some good conversations with all of you. Thanks.

Hello Nick, enjoy your time here.

My dad was\is a big Dr Feelgood fan and was gutted when the Dr passed in 94 (I think). Milk and Alcohol still is a kicking tune.

Anyhow up the Shrimpers and welcome to The Zone.

Good to have you on board - you picked a good time to re-establish connections with the Shrimpers!
