Mr Levy will not learn.

Ok Sherwood was always going but he has the highest win ratio of any Spurs manager and was working with players obtained by AVB.

Since Arry Tottenham have gone backwards whilst spending plenty.Levy demands instant success and he may be waiting for many years to get the success he craves.

The prem IMO is vastly overrated and the lack of success by clubs in Europe proves its not as good as some think.

Indeed. And I'm hoping it will lead to more foreign players electing to play in other countries where success is more likely. That in turn may make room for more English players.

Who am I trying to kid?

Was always on the cards but I feel a bit sorry for him. Why give him an 18-month contract when it was clear they only ever intended him to be interim? As mentioned, he has the highest win ratio of any Spurs manager in the league, not bad considering he inherited a squad with lot of recent signings who weren't his. It's bad the way the club have allowed constant speculation about his future to hang over his head - we should be encouraging young English managers. I liked him, his interviews were always interesting and he seemed to have some of the old-fashioned values that have gone away from football. Maybe he was too outspoken and rebellious for a top flight manager. They finished 6th which is just about Spurs level, despite Levy's obsession with being in the top four. Hopefully he'll use his experience at Tottenham, get his qualifcations and go on to have a decent managerial career elsewhere.

Levy is an outstanding businessman, what is there to learn from his perspective? he is making profit year on year. Well done to him.
