From November on his official site:

I missed the England game against Spain but obviously heard all about it (the racism). To be honest I don’t think that sort of thing happens over here anymore, but maybe I’m just oblivious to it.

Any news from anyone regarding the latest? I read Spooner was investigating but that was a while ago.

I thought Lewis Hunt was racially abused at an away match not at home. If it was away Spooner wouldnt be investigating

I definitely read he was, it was in the Echo.

Im not saying you didnt Paul. The Echo may have been wrong or he may have given a quote. It would defintely be the OB in Chester who would be looking into it if indeed anyone still is.
It happened in Chester, They were Chester fans accused of the taunts.
Spooner's bosses wouldnt allow him to deal with the incident. He would have been there only as liason between the two forces and as a spotter for Southend faces

Maybe he was collating reports to give to Chester OB then. Dunno
