Lib Dems to create wind jobs

Government to create jobs, by creating an entire industry which no one in the private sector has done yet.

Now that is either a brainwave of epic proprtions or a large white elephant looming on the horizon

The idea imho is sound, why buy stuff from abroad when we can make it over here, from an industry set up by the Government, why stop at Wind turbines, why not have a government set up Motor Industry or maybe Aircraft too......

Yeah pretty much what I thought, sounds great in principle!

We do need to get a manufacturing base in this country again.

I would imagine teh private sectors hasnt done it because it will eat into their petrolium based profits. Would be great if these and the hydrocarbon batteries would be invested in as well (there's a whole cottage industry of engineers in Southend of all places dealing with this ) they just cant make the motors efficiency at the moment (basic water powers the electrical motor but instead of separating the hydrogen and oxygen it stays together , thus the by product is water )

Indeed we do, but people like to buy DVD players for £10 and then wonder why manufacturing goes to China.
