Lincoln have ended their search for a striker with the capture of the experienced Adrian Littlejohn.
The 33-year-old has agreed a six-month deal at Sincil Bank and is expected to complete his move before Saturday's game against Rushden and Diamonds.
"Adrian's an experienced player who has that little bit of nous that we need," Alexander told City's website.
Littlejohn was released by Port Vale last season and Lincoln will become his ninth club since starting at West Brom.
