"West Ham have released midfielder Freddie Ljungberg after an agreement was reached to terminate his contract."

I have to say I am a little bit suprised at this - what a coup it would be if T&B could convince him to revitalise his career down at Roots Hall!! **ah well we all can dream**

Unfortunately he's lost his pace. While his experience and brain are very much needed by us, I don't think his body is up for League 1.

I'm damn sure it would be! Got to be better than Sherringham was. Wouldn't have been able to afford him anyway so no matter. Wish him well, a player I always liked, even if his hairstyles have left much to be desired over the years.

Black and Ljunberg, quite a difference in class there, he would be more than good enough.

Still don't think Tommy Black was as poor as what a lot of people thought, and I'd prefer to still have him in the squad at this moment in time.

I know its late, but people aren't seriously discussing this are they?

I realised how hard it is to please people earlier, when I saw that a Tottenham fan found the summer signings acceptable, and would like 2 more signings. They've had a dream summer with signings.

Its not just SUFC, we're all mad.

i think it's great he's seen the light and agreed to leave the spammers, far too good for them.
