We have a playing budget. It's bigger than it should be, IMO, but is still far smaller than we were running with three or four years ago. It's also about a third of what Swindon had last year and there are many clubs in this division this year spending more than we are.

of course my point is about a broad overview of the clubs position - and I read that as being excellent cos you can cash in Roots Hall at some point now that you have permission at FF -

lies dam lies and company accounts - but what is funny about this it shows the clubs asetts have declined so much - we know why -

Thats not one number for us, that's the amount in each of our 3 bank accounts. €474 in the tax mans account, €564 in the players wages account and €975 in the account for RMs hair stylist!

But this is the point... I'm sitting in a 5 bedroom house in Leigh worth over 1/2 million but I don't own it so it's not mine and I can't do anything with it.

All your previous references, arguments and rants have been about the club having money and assets - we don't. We may be using them but they're not ours.

The real "crime" was selling Roots Hall for far less than it's worth from a position of weakness many years ago. But we can't turn the clock back can we?
