It's shame but Watford have ruined it for everyone. I have it on good authority we were in the middle of negotiating with Real Madrid to bring in 15 of their Reserves on loan. "Why aye pet...we woz going to be 'doing a hornet' " said a spokesman close to the manager.
But now we will have to look elsewhere. I am glad Palace won - Udinese B (or "Watford" as they used to be known) will have try again next season with their own players. Perhaps this is what was mentioned regarding us and Chelski? Maybe we should set our sights a little lower, and nearer....any suggestions?
