Luke Prosser

Good signing for them to be fair, decent League 2 player. That's his level though.

Good luck to him- especially as we are not in same league.
Now Northampton are in L1 they have come to exactly the same conclusion PB did I guess- good L2 defender. Will do a decent job for you. Wasn't prepared to be a squad player in L1 but he was never going to be a first choice L1 player in my opinion.

Decent in the air, will put himself on the line to get blocks, last ditch tackles in. Distribution not great. Looking at your defence though last year an upgrade (although doubt a downgrade was possible..)

Got yourself a solid League Two centre-back there, and defence is clearly an area where you needed to improve. Good character too, very vocal and will put his body on the line.

Always liked young Lukey. L2 probably is about right but he is decent at that level and will die for the cause. May even score once in a while. At both ends.

I always liked Luke - he handles himself very professionally in my view. A team player who works hard.

My view when Luke is on the pitch is rather different. Things just aren't quite up to standard for me - poor distribution at times (both with head and feet), seems to attract own goals and backs away from attackers as they come to him (until he is in the box and it is too risky to get in a tackle).

Still I wish Luke well and I hope he is a good signing for Col U.

To be honest he has said all the right things you would expect, but I think he is what they need experience at the back, although will be interesting how they replace Moncur and Gilbey.
