Am listening on Blues World. Kev has been booked again for nothing, even by BBC Northamptons commentary teams view. A few minutes earlier Martin Smith brought down someone from behind and got away without anything at all, much to their surprise as well as they said it appeared to be AT LEAST a booking.

So I think thats now a 3 game ban for Kev. At least it wasn't for dissent.

Two games for "ten recorded cautions" ...

What Kev has got to remember is that his constant whinging and back chat winds referees up and he gets booked for challenges that others get away with. I'm sure that if he could keep his mouth shut he'd pick up less bookings for fouls.

Yeah put he did not really back chat. The tackle was there to be won and looked like it could have been a 50/50 whereas their bloke just cynically chopped down Pettefer(I believe) from behind and only got a talking to, which was surprising as we were breaking at that point only due to another defender being between goal and Petts did i not consider that it could even be a red.

Smith's tackle was dirty and Maher's was, well, enthusiastic at worst.

Smith's was never a red in a month of Sundays but it was certainly a cynical foul and should have been a booking.

Ref was good in that he helped the flow of the game tremendously but, sadly, had little control over it and it showed later on. Still, if every ref int he league was like him, it'd be a better place!
