Tough match, and by all accounts we weren’t great at the weekend but better once we scored. I can’t see that the winning side will be changed unless there is either an injury, someone badly needs a rest or there is a really strong tactical reason to swap out someone.

The number of people on here saying they are going to stream it as opposed to going along proves that it will generate revenue for us, as any gate receipts will be going to the away team, however I am sure if I remember correctly that both teams get a share of the streaming pot?

Not so good for the smaller clubs that will rely more on the away support such as Maidenhead though.

He probably the only Southend Utd fan that is more closely know what is going on inside the club, if we all but closed down on 1st, he and the players would be ready to jump ship last month.

I like these threads compared to the new RM related ones everyday. Anyway I’m really hoping blondy has a good game tbh. i really don’t rate him at all but I just hope he cane put in a good performance for his confidence. Jack Bridge is my favourite atm he is playing really well and his decision making is great he could easily play league two football even maybe league one. Also hoping Husin can turn it on again he’s been quietly over the last games in which we lost but better against York. My prediction is 1-1 and tbh I think it would be a good point earned. Also fun fact Maidenhead have played their last five games away from home I believe so their fans will be really up for it and looking forward to be watching a game at home so I reckon it could be a big crowd. I’m 50/50 on weather to go tonight atm. COYB

Southend will always be a fans club and my special club keep going Maher and Co

“It has emerged that the profits from the service will be divided up with 60 per cent going to the club that a viewer supports, while 25 per cent will be redistributed across all of the 72 National League clubs and 15 per cent will be retained by the National League for ‘reinvestment in the infrastructure of streaming, marketing and phase one of North and South clubs).”

courtesy of Derbyshire Times.

So we get £5 per person at £9.95.

I wouldn't make the assumption Southend get a fiver per subscription. The above is the profit split not revenue

FIVE former Southend United players could line up for Maidenhead at York Road on Tuesday night.

Their manager must be a miracle worker if he can get these 5 playing decent football.

We should be turning teams like this over if we are to do anything this season but obviously Maher has to play the game with his comments.

2-0 Southend tonight.
