Manager of Month award for March will be given 2

Watching Sky Sport News, I was thinking "God ... please No!" when they pick Tilson, Moore, Barlow (Nott'm F manager) & Rotherham manager as their choice to get the award. Its left me praying Tilson don't get it - if he do, then its goodbye to our Promotion chance, cos' its a curse (look what happen to Parky & Martin Allen in last 2 months after getting the award!).

I wonder if Tilly will get the manager of the year again. Top of the league (I say hoping, without arrogance, praying we won't blow it) with a limited budget and every pundit including twaddle waddle predicting us to go down again.

Ronnie Moore wins it anyway, I would think. Oldham have the same record as us in March (3 wins and a defeat), and when this is the case the panel (for that, I think read, Chris Kamara picks the winner).

As Oldham are the team that has made an eye-catching move for promotion, rather than having been at the top, more or less, siince the turn of the year, I think this will swing it for Moore.

Think it will either be Ronnie Moore or the Forest guys as Kamara is one of their mates apparently & face it he's not the most unbiased pundit in the game!

Got to agree (with CCCsider). My unbiased view is that as Oldham have managed to raise their form they deserve the award as we have "only" kept the same form going. (If you see what I mean).

Actually, it seems a bit strange to be awarding it now, when Oldham still have one more game to play in March.

We got the award for March 2005, look where its got us? I don't want to be there to say "I you so" when we lose 3-2 at home to Bristol City & finish 3rd!

Quite right, LB, I'm not superstitious, and touch wood I never will be! (Aquarians tend to be rationalists, you know).
