Proves how good Fergie was as the current shambles are reigning champions!,Moyes looks a broken man to me and if they fail to reach the top 4 will the board stand by their man?,Just heard Manchester police revealed a fan dialled 999 and demanded to speak to Sir Alex.

Hysterical.

I don't think Fergie had to do without RVP and Rooney for the majority of the season. Older players haven't been replaced and the whole team are woefully short of confidence.

Teams aren't afraid of them any more, which has surprised them and they can't get the OT crowd (daytrippers) behind them.

You may be correct but I think the club cleared out the back room staff allowing Moyes to bring in his people far too quick,That club only had to replace the manager not the entire coaching staff IMO.

Also shows Mancini was underachieving at City as well.

I never thought Man Utd were that good last year despite winning the league comfortably, their squad had become very ordinary and without RVP wouldnt have done as well.

Moyes had to bring in 2 or 3 players in the summer and ended up with Fellaini.

Fergie has probably left Moyes with the worst squad in his entire spell there.

Mancini came out saying Man City's success this season is down to him because it is his squad. He still failed to get them past the group stage on the Champions League and they've done that this season.
