Good night to you all, Im a personal friend of Marcus Milner, hes only made one appearance for Southend United while he was a member of the U 18 squad in the Steve Tilson Era. After Paul Sturrock took over, he identified Marcus as a bright young prospect however this was very much short lived as Marcus suffered back to back leg breaks which kept him out for entirety of his development contract. Nowadays he plays for Maldon and Tiptree which is a world away from his time with the shrimpers however, he is enjoying his football and sees it as a way of paying his dues and making his way back in the football league. A couple of days ago he decided to take the Owen Hargreaves route and posted a video on youtube of his U18 Days. Its a very good video, and there are moments when his talent is undeniable. Be sure to watch it and leave comments of what you think;

Hello Matt

Im not sure how often he is in contact with Ricky Duncan, however I do know that Ricky Duncan has been in contact with Marcus since hes been at Maldon, just to keep up to date on his progress etc. I do know for a fact aswell that Ricky saw Marcus as someone who had the mental fortitude and the talent to make his way back into the football league, and not pale into insignificance like other players who had high hopes. Lets see what the future holds
