Saw Horsham play AFC Wimbledon last night in the FA Cup. Mark Beard, who I seem to remember was once named as our FA Cup talisman just before we lost to Doncaster, was playing for the latter. He was in central midfield and played his normal sort of game, running around willingly about 10 yards from the ball without hardly ever touching it.

The game went to penalties and was 4-4 sudden death when up stepped Beardy and promptly kicked the ball over the bar and out of the ground. Horsham scored the next penalty and went through.

Daniel Webb was listed in the programme for Wimbledon but to my, and no doubt Horsham's, disappointment was not in the 16.
