SSN are reporting that Tottenham have denied reports claiming the club have approached Mark Hughes to take over as manager!

Why on gods earth would Mark Hughes want to leave the richest club in the world who can buy ANYONE! to go to the spurs?

Whilst this rumour seems surprising, do you think ultimately that Mark Hughes will need to go to another club first before having hopes of taking over at Man U....jumping straight from City to United seems a litte bit controversial, and also that the new owners of Man CIty might want a bigger name, or personality to splash their cash.....

Club Statement from spurs -

The Club largely refrains from making statements of this nature unless absolutely necessary in order to set the record straight in light of wholly inaccurate reporting.

An article on the back page of this morning's Sun newspaper reports that the Club has made an offer to Mark Hughes to take over as manager during the forthcoming international break.

This story is completely untrue and without foundation and the matter is being discussed with the publication.

The way Bruce is going at Wigan , it would not surprise me if Sir Alex got him on board at some point in the next few years would have him over Hughes at the moment.

Done a cracking job at most clubs he's been at , i know the obvious is Keano but he has had money to burn at Sunderland , Bruce has been a lot wiser with his signings etc .

I can imagine it now. Levy saying to The Sun, "...and anyway it wasn't Hughes, it was Arsene Wenger..."
