Mark Molesley

if we hadn't started the season trying to play out from the back like peak Barce with players totally unsuited to the task we might well have stayed up. he took too long to learn to cut his cloth accordingly

Maybe he could have changed sooner but he wasn’t trying to get us to play any differently to how Maher is having us play out from the back now. It is possible if you recruit the right players (and Hobson, Kyle Taylor, Cordner, Olayinka etc were more than able to do so once he was able to recruit)

I will never understand his judgement in surrounding himself with an entourage of amateurs. Not just one or two but a bunch of them.
The advantage with amateurs is that they are cheap.

That said the analyst he recruited I see is now at Brighton, Tom Prodomo is at Bournemouth, the goalkeeper coach is now the first team goalkeeper coach at Portsmouth. Not sure what Anton Robinson is up to now but otherwise his staff all seem to have gone onto better things.

I think we were crying out for a battle hardened ******* for that appointment, not a first time tippy tappy merchant. Ron's fault for appointing him, and his fault for not starting by playing to Lennon, White, and Taylor's strengths

Quit at Hayes & Yeading after 18 months, 17th in the Southern South Premier. Rumours he could be going back to Weymouth.

Had to feel sorry for him , Harry Rednapp recomended him poor guy was coming to a club that was in the s--t and sinking fast .
TBH after Harry had recommended Kevin Bond ( imo we only beat Sunderland to stay up, because they were already in the play offs, & rested half of their team that day ) i was amazed that R.M then went back to him asking for more advice?.

He didn’t have much today. His game was abandoned with them 1-0 up against leaders Yeovil due to a medical emergency in the away end.
The Helicopter that landed on the pitch is the Children’s Air Ambulance, hope they are ok. Seems to be happening more often at games these days.
