So, Reynolds's protestations that he's the main creditor are, in fact, total rubbish.

The club ought to watch out for any of the creditors listed above - not merely for the size of the debt, but also because all of them probably have a public duty to apply for Darlington to be wound up if the debt isn't paid.

In addition, it looks like the builders have lost out big time; note, in particular, Hall Construction - as in Newcastle United's Sir John Hall...

Just that little lot comes to £1.585m... at that rate, Darlo will do well to last the summer.

Anyone that owes a company £850 for hats deserve everything they get.

They have never been a problem, most of them have agreed a CVA but Georgy wouldnt let it happen. Then Sterling bought the Stadium ...

Matt
I'd like to see a breakdown of our creditors.

So long as HM Customs & Excise or HM Inland Revenue aren't involved, I won't be too scared.

And, Luke - I'd hesitate before suggesting that a CVA was in the bag and that it was Reynolds causing all the problems. The two bodies mentioned above do not, as a matter of public policy, readily accept CVAs.

So far as I'm aware, Banksy... Although I may be wrong.

That said, how often have you phoned up your local Inland Revenue office and said, "listen, I'm really hard up this year, can we agree that I'll only pay 20p in the pound on my Income Tax this year?"

Invariably the Inland Revenue says, "No, sir. But we'll have your house, your car, your lawnmower... that way you can pay your tax bill..."

Is Dave still banging on? Won't he give the club a rest? Jeez.
So would you be if you had to supply Carl Emberson for so long without payment.

That's gotta be worth a try though, even for the sound of laughter at the other end.
