Chester have had their problems in the past few weeks and Mark Wright jumping ship is probably no surprise... I think there was another thread running on this topic with more info...

Apparently David Moss [Mark Wright's assistant] has also left & the explanation is apparently for "NON-footballing reasons!" read into that what you will...

Quoted as being for "non-footballing reasons!", both Mark Wright and his assistant David Moss have left the Deva Stadium. Ray Mathius has taken temporary charge in a caretaker capacity...

got to be to do with their financial difficulties.
Maybe they have been told that to survive they will have to sell the bulk of the team and bring in youngsters or players on very low wages.
Maybe wright thinks he can't work with those restrictions and has left.

If that is the case can't see Chester (most bookies favourites for promotion) being very near the top of the division come the end of the season.

Exactly... and the non-footballing reasons??? financial irregularities I would hazard a guess!

Guess Mark Wright & his assistant made a good choice to leave now, but they may not get another job for a while with the season just about to start!
