I was standing outside the shrimpers bar about to go in when who walks pass me, no over than martin jol. was very shocked at the time.

when he got to the stands when the game was about to begin and got a nice round of applause as i think he should.

anyone know why or anything? i was thinking that rm might have invited him to be nice due to getting the sack. lol

Not sure what interest Martin Jol and Chris Houghton have in a league One match, I bet they werent impressed either. Neil Warnock was also in the directors box as well

Hughton is a good friend of Tilsons therefore Tilson invited him and he brought along Jol end of specualtion!

Why though? I cant see Martin Jol wanting to watch a football match and saying "oh, im well up for watching that Southend v Carlisle game today!"

Plus Jol is at a lose end on Saturday afternoons aswell.

Did he sit in Rons seat?

I werent sure if it was Jol or Shrek from the West Stand....

To be fair i dont know but if Tilson does leave then we know who is in the runinng strongly! I feel Steve has taken us as far as eh can he got us back to the Championship, but i feel he should jump at the chance to go Norwich and let some else have a crack with us

I have put a fiver (1000-1 at the time) on Jol to become the next Southend manager. I hasten to add i did this on Friday on the advice of Tottenham supporters and very reliable sources.

matter of time

and who may they be?

A couple of Brothers i grew up with, have been right on absolutely everything spurs related they have ever mentioned. I don't personally believe them but as i said they have a great track reocrd and there was no harm in asking for the odds and put a small amount of money on it once i heard them. I keep telling myself it's **** but i saw him there today and it made me think.
