Match Day Parking

Having previously travelled to home matches via public transport I am not well versed on parking availability around the Roots Hall area. Can anyone advise a suitable place to park for today's match as I appreciate parking spaces within the stadium are at a premium. Thanks in advance.

Hamlet Court Road/London road junction car park is rarely packed.

Thanks Rob. I didn't consider that. That's got to be about a 15 minute walk from the stadium wouldn't you say? Apologies, being from Benfleet, my geographical knowledge of Southend isn't great.

If your early enough I always park along the road where the hospital is.. Past the hospital towards roots hall, never have any problems

Civic Centre in Vic Avenue. Sat games will cost you £2.40 for 3 hours. Free after 6 for evening games. Always spaces there!

How much at Prittlewell station? The other option is down North Road between the school and the cemetery. It does say private property but nobody pays any notice to that.
