Well the silly pointless Fa trophy doesn’t help, wow, what are we doing in this non league rubbish?
Im rather glad Kevin maher does not agree its a silly trophy .QUOTE what he said all players would relish going to wembley no matter what cup it is .Its a day out for the wonerbe fans .And much needed cash for the club .

Forecast freeze overnight in Wickford didn't materialise, balmy 3 degrees, obviously long way from maidenhead but hope the Maidenhead decision wasn't too hasty

I've walked out this morning and it is really mild (in comparison to previous days). There's no frost on the cars either.

I guess we have to remember they are a semi-pro side (I'm sure they still are) and these things are to be expected. They aren't going to have top of the range covers and heaters unfortunately.

Oh well, it least it postpones worrying about Aquah getting one over us!

Ok so if this game is postponed along with many others .Is it not time to have a winter break of say 8 weeks .Because at this time clubs have had so many games called of due to the bad weather .It means some teams will be playing 2 or 3 games a week just to forfill the fixtures .Ans some clubs other than the top three or four have paper thin squads and players picking up ibad knocks may leave teams struggling to put a team out .Just my thoughts on the matter

8 weeks? Are you serious?

There is no guarantee in this country when/if we would get a cold snap for one. You could have it January/February, and it be really mild but November/December or March/April could be the cold snap then we are stuck with real fixture congestion.

Secondly, at this level, gate receipts make a huge difference to Club, not like the Premier League Clubs who could easily survive without fans. 8 weeks with no revenue from a match day would put a lot of Clubs extremely close to the edge.

It’s about time the fan base as a whole respects the level we are playing at.

Yes, no one wants to be in the National League, and we’d all be a lot happier being back in League One/Two, but we are where we are and we should be respectful of the level we are at, and in turn, the competitions we have to compete in.

I remember after we were relegated from the Championship, fans slagging off that we had to play in the LDV Vans trophy, or whatever it was called then, even though that competition we’d only been out of for a year, and it had given us some amazing times too.

Some fans moan about the national league like we won our place in a raffle. We’re exactly where we deserve to be sadly.

Will we be out of play offs by end of night

So let's hope that Bromley beat Daggers - they will have played two games more than us. If that happens we will still be in the play offs. I can't see Altrincham winning at Chesterfield and Wealdstone's match is postponed due to a frozen pitch at Yeovil.
