Wowzer! Just the Southend way to beat a promotion chasing side who have an impressive away form after losing to two lower sides .

In all fairness though it was a great showing tonight, Hayes incredible once again, Defence and midfield controlling with the attackers doing the business up top. Back this result up on Saturday and we may just be 1 point outside those playoffs! (Subject to other results of course)

Well that’s supporting Blues for ya !
What a result - can we play all our home games midweek under the the lights always a great atmosphere & bring back Friday nights !

Have to say also, love the light blue shirts - my imagination or do we play better in those!
