According to Soccerbase he now has exactly the same goals to game* career ratio as Blair Sturrock!


*Intriguingly Blair Sturrock has made more appearances as sub than starts. Can anyone think of any other examples of players with more than 200 league appearances, when more than half of them have been from the bench? Is Blair unique in this regard?

Wasn't a Tilson signing apparently, he was an RM signing and part of the Barnard deal.

Paying up his contract would not bring our cap down, because the cap is expressed in terms of annual expenditure. It would still mean we had spent the same on his wages as if we'd kept him to the end. That sum of money still counts as part of the club wage bill, whether it's paid up in advance or not.
