Apparently contact was made before the Playoff Final with a view to a move if promoted. Was with the scum last year and by all accounts was the best player they had!
 
NO NO NO NO NO!!!

He is utterly useless, and has a disgusting attitude. Didnt take Millwall long to jettison him and he alienated the Watford fans after only 6 games on loan - he cost us auto promotion against Burnley with a terrible backpass header in 2013 and also was at fault for other goals. He doesnt track back or defend well. Poses little attacking threat. He doesnt wear any shirt with pride and will rip apart the dressing room harmony.

I dislike Briggs ENORMOUSLY and will be horrified if he joins Southend.

He has played at much higher level and obviously has talent.
Got sent off in first match for Millwall. One of those that could be a find or a shocker. Depending on attitude.
 
While we're on the subject of players that the scum have had on loan recently how about Hewitt?
