Now, there really is no excuse for mocking a child, ever.

That being said, if you’re gunna name your child Abcde, you’ve kinda already marked their card for life.

‘Murica

I saw that. Classic.

In Freakonomics (an excellent read) there's a whole section on parents who give their kids stupid or "weirdly" spelt names and they basically screw up their kids adult lives as their CVs generally end up in the bin.

GREAT book but if I remember rightly, it wasn't the chosen name itself that had the major effect on someone's career path. It was more about the type of parent that would give their child a certain name, and the upbringing that might go with it. Katie Hopkins eat your heart out.

As for ABCDE as a first name, I can think of a few choice names for the parent, but the swear filter is going to shut that down.

In the maternity ward when my daughter was born, another mum was having to fight the dad over the name he wanted to bestow on the poor kid.... Lanesra

Thank goodness he dos'nt support Queens Park Rangers!.

But that's not my one.

I am always getting misgendered...... its quite funny really, especially when they phone you up, ask to speak to Kerry and rather than a delicate female accent they get me. I can hear their little brains whizz for 10 seconds until the penny drops.

I was refering to the weekends.

I went to school with a lad called Kerry. Mention of his name being female was most unwise.
