Meanwhile, down in Buckingham Palace, a 92 year old trillionaire sits on a throne with a crown on her head. Strange World.

Yep. People relying on food banks to survive but lets up Liz's income by £82M. That sounds fair.

 Here we go. Been a while since this golden nugget last appeared.

Income/Expenditure Fact Check

Only an estimate but there you go.

One estimate came from consultancy Brand Finance who said that in 2017 the monarchy contributed £1.8 billion to the UK economy, of which around £550 million came from tourism.
This is a gross figure (i.e. before the estimated costs have been subtracted). The net contribution estimate is £1.5 billion a year.
This estimate is largely subjective depending on what factors you think should or shouldn’t be included.
For example, the report estimates the monarchy contribute £50 million towards the media industry by providing the inspiration and “mystique” for TV shows like The Crown and plays like King Charles III. It’s up to you to decide whether you think those should or shouldn’t be included.
And even once you decide what influences to include, then trying to put a number on the exact contribution the Royal Family make to those areas is harder still. Any estimate is going to be extremely uncertain.

Or you could force all those fat cats of industry on millions a year to pay for them. That's fair isn't it.
At least those fat cats have to a certain degree - earned it.

Abolish the Royal Family and set inheritance tax to 90%

Along with Helicopter owners and 95 year olds wearing a red poppies, it’s the Royal family who will always expose the spiteful left.

Never mind how much the royals earn for the country or how much the Leicester chairman gave to local hospitals.....Oh no, their ingrained hatred overrules any financial sense.

It’s that very narrow minded agenda that has ruined every union. It has made True Labour unelectable for 40 years. We all have to suffer because socialism is the biggest casualtie of a small but very loud group.
