I know its a bad show and all that, but been to Millwall 7 or 8 times before and am seriously considering a jolly day out at Lords for the Essex v Kent final. Anybody else facing the same predicament or are you all 'loyal' fans?

The bad/good news is that based on past performances if I go to the cricket we are bound to lose but will then probably win the footy!

Firstly, welcome to the Zone

I'm probably a 'neither' as I'm almost certain to be working that day, but I for one wouldn't blame a Southend fan for going to the cricket.

It's been about ten years since Essex's last Lord's final, so off to St John's Wood you go!

Get a ticket for the cricket & hope for rain all day on the Saturday so you can go to Millwall and then watch the final at Lords on the Sunday:)

Having been at Lords when Essex won their first ever trophy against Surrey in the B&H in 1979, it's a no contest. Lords for me if I can get a ticket.

I'll be going to Millwall but eitherside of the football I'll be watching the cricket on Sky. That way I get to see both teams triumph against South of the River opposition.

been to millwall 6 times old and new but Lords was always going to win this contest. Seen Essex win there twice and lose once and the wins will go down at two of my best days out at sporting events. local derby as well this time around.

Am hoping to go to the final with friends but have no idea where to get tickets! I had a quick look on seatwave but they are about £110 and that is just money I can't afford. Anyone know if Essex will sell them directly?

Yeah I've been thinking about this. If I can get a ticket I'd be tempted to go to Lords.
