4 Yorkies (god, perish the thought !!! :smiles:) wasn't from The Flying Circus so ineligable and Cheese shop fell at the final cull (from 14 to 10) along with Argument Clinic, Vocational Guidance Councillor and Self Defence/Fresh Fruit

The 4 Yorkshiremen was originally from At Last the 1948 Show, and I believe the 4 Yorkies were Marty Feldman, Graham Chapman, John Cleese & Michael Palin.

I rembered Chapman, Cleese & Feldman the 4th was Tim Brooke-Taylor.

I think MPFC is like Marmite. A lot of it is miss although there are a few hits. I think it's the context that's important. In terms of alternatives at the time it was pretty radical. I like the odd sketch and bits of Meaning of Life and Life of Brian but I can happily pass by without it. It's a bit like the Goon Show for me. Fail to understand the adoration.

I've been listening to reruns of Red Dwarf on Internet radio. Even without the visuals that is quality all the way through.

And Top of the Shop .. numero uno

My number one.

I remember the beeb rerun FC just before Star Trek IV was released. When Kirk walked on to the Enterprise bridge with the immortal line "I didn't expect the spanish inquisition." I wasn't the only who couldn't resist the comeback,
