More bad news for Barna

The triple dip did not happen. The double dip was even revised away after the ONS calculated that output was flat in early 2012 rather than falling, as had first been thought.

Poor left wing :'( :hilarious:

If you are on a low income things are brutal out there. More cuts to come.

These polls don't suggest that people are feeling any better

Populus (29th Nov-1st Dec) – CON 33%, LAB 40%, LDEM 10%, UKIP 9%
YouGov/Sun (1st-2nd Dec) – CON 32%, LAB 38%, LDEM 10%, UKIP 12%
YouGov/Sun (2nd-3rd Dec) – CON 32%, LAB 40%, LDEM 9%, UKIP 12%
YouGov/Sun (3rd-4th Dec) – CON 34%, LAB 40%, LDEM 10%, UKIP 10%

Labour are running a cost of living bombshell campaign suggesting that the average family are £1200/year worse off under this government. This resonates with people because most people have been made worse off as a result of this government.

The rich might be experiencing a recovery.

The rest of us (including me), are very much aware that there's a cost of living crisis.

More cuts are on the way.You are correct! The figures are being manipulated by changing the things/range of monitored indexes. All that is happening is standard lead up to an election with getting a temporary "feel good" factor and having a tame press and submissive BBC pedal the propaganda. The truth is that those struggling and youths will find it harder while the middle class and toffs will fill their pockets in a repeat of the "loads of money" worse parts of Thatchers 1980's.

Bad news for Generation Y indeed. They're going to have to work until they're 70 to pay for it all.

Why? Perhaps it's a co-incidence but "In 2010, only 44% of 18-24 year olds voted, compared to 76% of the over-64s."
