To be fair, you can spout rubbish in any country you like. If the meedja pick up on it and broadcast it as "news" is a different story. Morrissey has got what he wants - people are talking about a musician who's best work was nearly 30 years ago. Like I said, best ignored.

I was at the Olympic Stadium last night. I cheered on people I'd never heard of before. I genuinely willed female highjumpers over the barrier because I wanted them all to do well, whilst accepting that somewhere along the line people will fail. I stood silently in respect of other nations' anthems, but I saved my biggest cheers for the Brits, and the biggest cheer (scream) for a black refugee from a muslim country because he brought home yet another gold for the country that I am hugely proud of.

And I find it hugely offensive that someone can liken that behaviour to that of a Nazi.
