Moving Us Forward

Since promotion we seen a lot of new faces - permanent and loan - and the squad size has grown. The interesting thing for me is that hardly any of the new faces are nailed on for a first team start - the only one that possibly is, is Tyrone Barnett. Whilst Brown is clearly trying to add new blood that will take us to the next level, it's interesting that when things go a bit iffy he very quickly reverts to the tried and tested. This isn't a criticism - I'd do the same thing - it's just fairly apparent that getting the players in who can move us forward isn't proving that easy.

Mcgoughlin has been a disappointing scenario. He just can not get anywhere near fit enough.
Bolger ended last season in imperious form but had not quite come on as hoped.
Hunt is a crock
Mooney is ok
The development of jack payne has been very good this season.
Barnett has been good for us
On his day WordsWorth is like watching silk but needs to be a tad more consistent.
O,Neil has had some good games...again needs to add consistency.
Bit hit and miss on the signings made this season but large parts of the budget went on improving contracts and getting hunt and WordsWorth in.
